Affinity supports four key phases in the early design process: the capture of project program data,
2d/3d visualization in schematic design, bi-directional integration with Revit ,
and analysis of the design as it moves through the detailed design phase.
Intelligent Integration of Programming and Design
Once the project program is captured, Affinity allows you to try out any number of building layout scenarios using intelligent, 3D building blocks such as spaces and openings. As you create conceptual floor plans and stacking diagrams, Affinity analyzes each element and tracks whether the initial design is in compliance with the requirements in the program.
Once the team selects a plan, you can bring the schematic into your favorite CAD or BIM tools to develop the detailed designs and construction documents.
The bi-directional Affinity for Revit plug-ins allow you to continue to track the detailed design against the initial requirements. You can even update the requirements in Revit using the features of Affinity.
